Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of The Influence Engine ("TIE," "we," "us"), a Storywork product. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

TIE learns your voice and helps you generate a business strategy, audience personas, a content calendar with captions and images, and a website — for your review, approval, and publishing to platforms you connect.

Accounts

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You're responsible for your account, your credentials, and all activity under your account.

Plans, credits & billing

• Paid plans (Creator and Pro) are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Each plan includes a monthly credit allotment that powers AI generations. Credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over.
• You may purchase credit top-ups, which do not expire within your current billing cycle.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice; changes apply to your next billing cycle.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you provide and the outputs generated for you. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to operate the service (including sending it to our AI processors to generate outputs). You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload and to publish the outputs you approve.

AI-generated output

Outputs are generated by AI and provided "as is." They may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any output before publishing or relying on it. TIE does not guarantee any particular result, reach, or revenue.

Publishing & third-party services

When you approve content for publishing, you authorize us to transmit it to the services you connect (such as social platforms via Metricool). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. You are responsible for complying with each platform's rules.

Acceptable use

• Don't use TIE to create unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, or harmful content.
• Don't attempt to breach security, reverse engineer, resell, or overload the service.
• Don't upload content you don't have the rights to use.

Intellectual property

The platform, software, and brand are owned by Storywork and its licensors. These Terms don't grant you any rights in the platform beyond the right to use it as described.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Storywork will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Storywork against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.

Termination

You may stop using TIE at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms; we'll revise the effective date and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
